Bauchi recruits 850 health workers to address manpower shortage

The Bauchi State Government has recruited 850 new personnel to address manpower shortages in primary healthcare centres. Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, the Executive Chairman of the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Board, stated that the recruitment was necessary due to retirements, deaths, and voluntary exits of healthcare workers. The new workers will be distributed among the 20 local government areas based on manpower needs.
