Bauchi veterinary doctors issue ultimatum over salary

The Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Bauchi State Chapter, has given the Bauchi State Government a 21-day ultimatum to address issues affecting veterinary doctors. The association's chairman, Dr Abubakar Ibrahim, called for veterinary doctors to be included in the newly implemented revised Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS). He warned that failure to resolve the matter would lead to the suspension of veterinary services, impacting public health and food safety.
