Bayern Munich: Bara Sapoko Ndiaye out until mid-November after emergency surgery

Senegalese Bayern Munich midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye underwent surgery for appendicitis and is expected to return to the pitch in mid-November. The operation ruled him out of Bayern’s 6-1 German Cup win over Magdeburg. He could also miss the Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund and the Champions League match against Atlético Madrid. His return will depend on his recovery as Bayern deal with several fitness problems in the squad.
