Susie Wiles reacts to removal as Trump's White House Chief of Staff

Susie Wiles confirmed that Friday was her last day as White House Chief of Staff after Donald Trump announced that Stephen Miller would replace her. In a farewell message on X, she called serving Trump the honour of her lifetime and said she was proud of the administration’s record on border security, tax cuts, economic growth and its America First agenda. Wiles said her commitment to the president and his mission would remain unchanged as she moves to a role focused on political operations. The leadership change followed the Republicans’ poor midterm performance, in which they lost control of both chambers of Congress to the Democrats.
