'Being in prison doesn’t mean someone is evil' - Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, stated that prisons should be viewed as correctional centers that provide inmates with opportunities to reform and prepare for reintegration into society. At a graduation ceremony in Kaduna, he shared his personal experience of incarceration, emphasizing that prison can be a place for learning and reflection. Sani insisted that being imprisoned does not automatically mean someone is dangerous or evil.
