Belgian First Division: Nathanaël Mbuku unlucky with Saint-Trond despite scoring his first goal of the season

Saint-Trond lost 2-1 to Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the 10th round of the Belgian league, despite Nathanaël Mbuku opening the scoring early in the second half. The Congolese forward had missed a penalty, and Saint-Trond also squandered another spot-kick before letting its lead slip. The goal was Mbuku’s first in the league this season and his second across all competitions; Saint-Trond has now lost twice in a row and sits 15th with eight points. Leuven has nine points and is unbeaten in six matches across all competitions; it visits Mechelen on November 7, while Saint-Trond faces Zulte Waregem the following day.
