Belgium–Rwanda: Diplomatic relations restored after months of tensions related to the crisis in Eastern DRC

Belgium and Rwanda have decided to restore their diplomatic relations after several months of tensions due to the crisis in Eastern DRC. The embassies in Brussels and Kigali will soon be reopened, led by chargé d'affaires ad interim. This decision follows constructive meetings between the foreign ministers of both countries, who addressed divergences in a spirit of dialogue.
