Benin: 201 Billion FCFA for the Godomey-Ouidah-Hillacondji Road (details) – La Nouvelle Tribune

Benin secured 249.5 billion FCFA in funding from the Islamic Development Bank and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, signed during the World Bank and IMF annual meetings in Bangkok. Of this, 201.3 billion FCFA are allocated to rehabilitate the 94 km road axis from Godomey to Hillacondji to boost trade within the Abidjan-Lagos corridor. An additional 12.5 billion FCFA funds an agricultural productivity program focusing on soil fertility and food security, while a $65 million (approximately 35.75 billion FCFA) loan from BADEA aims to expand electricity access to 127 localities.
