Benin: A woman arrested in Parakou for producing counterfeit alcohol

The police in the 1st arrondissement of Parakou arrested a woman for producing counterfeit alcohol at her home in the Albarika neighborhood. Following suspicions reported by residents, a raid revealed a clandestine workshop where counterfeit drinks were being produced. Unidentified liquid containers, empty bottles, and labels of well-known brands were seized. The suspect claimed to work alone and sell her goods wholesale, leading to the seizure of additional products at a second location.
