Benin: African CDCs Join Forces with the AfDB to Finance Development

African deposit and consignment funds (CDCs) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) strengthened their cooperation during the CDC Forum in Cotonou from September 7 to 9, 2026. A Cotonou Declaration and a pilot facility involving the CDCs of Benin, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire are expected. Maryse Lokossou, the Forum's president, emphasized the importance of preparing projects to facilitate access to capital.
