Benin: Army on Mission to Support Families of Fallen Soldiers

The Benin Armed Forces, led by General Fructueux Gbaguidi, have been conducting a tour since October 6, 2026, across the south and center of Benin to meet with families of fallen or missing soldiers. The mission aims to strengthen the relationship with families, inform them of available aid programs, and update their administrative records in eight departments. Social support actions, including distribution of school and food kits, as well as legal provisions like a death benefit and health insurance cards, are already in place to assist these families.
