Benin: Bodies of Teacher and Son Recovered in Djidja

The bodies of Wilfried Houngbadji, a primary school teacher, and his son were recovered in Djidja after hours of search, following their disappearance during a dangerous crossing on a motorcycle during heavy rain. The incident occurred on September 28 when they were swept away by rising waters at a small submerged bridge. The confirmation of the recovery was provided by Dah Atômin Houmbadji, head of the Houmbadji community and deputy mayor of Abomey.
