Benin: Cotonou hosts the 8th UEMOA Accountants' Congress

Cotonou will host the 8th UEMOA Accountants' Congress on October 21-22, 2026, organized by OECCA-Bénin at the Conference Palace. Between 300 and 500 professionals, including accountants, auditors, regulators, and regional representatives from eight UEMOA countries, will discuss financial transparency, governance, digital transformation, and the role of accounting in public finances. The event also commemorates the 20th anniversary of OECCA-Bénin, aiming to strengthen regional cooperation and experience sharing.
