Benin: Deputies convened on September 7 to examine the 2027 Parliament budget

Beninese deputies will meet on September 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Palace of Governors in Porto-Novo for an extraordinary session dedicated to the 2027 budget of the National Assembly. The announcement, signed by Administrative Secretary General Christophe Donkpegan, states that the session will focus on the examination and adoption of the budget proposal. The previous budget, adopted in 2025, amounted to 33.08 billion FCFA, reflecting a 12.85% increase from the previous year.
