Benin: Five People in Custody Following Scrap Metal Case in Pahou – La Nouvelle Tribune

Five individuals have been taken into custody by Pahou police in an investigation into theft and receiving stolen scrap metal, including electrical meters, metal doors, batteries, copper, rails, sheets, and dismantled motorcycles. The case started after a mechanic's complaint, who identified a stolen item, leading to the arrest of a key buyer. Checks at his depot uncovered various suspicious items, resulting in the detention of three more people. The suspects remain in custody pending further investigation.
