Benin: Free birth certificate, here is the procedure for those under 14

Children under 14 can obtain a free birth certificate in Benin until September 30, 2026, through an initiative by ANIP and UNICEF. Parents must have the birth declaration number or RAVIP receipt to retrieve the document, either online via the ANIP BJ app or by SMS. This campaign aims to improve access to legal identity and is part of the country's civil registration reforms.
