Benin: Future MMA Professionals Take a Major Test in Eya

The second edition of the OPEN MMA & JJB took place at the Eya community center from October 3 to 4, 2026, bringing together African fighters competing under professional rules. Organized by the Beninese Federation of MMA and Related Disciplines, the event aims to prepare athletes for the professional circuit by providing experience against diverse opponents. Fighters like Jean Dos Santos and Pascal Akogbéto have already gained international recognition, but the federation emphasizes the importance of building a sustainable MMA sector in Benin.
