Benin: Germany announces 15 million euros for energy and businesses – La Nouvelle Tribune

Beninese and German authorities held consultations on October 8 in Cotonou, with Hugues Oscar Lokossou and Dr Silvia Morgenroth present. Following the talks, an additional 15 million euros in funding was announced for energy projects, including adding solar capacity to the Nangbéto hydroelectric plant, as well as initiatives to expand business advisory services and support women entrepreneurs. Next intergovernmental negotiations are scheduled in Berlin in 2027.
