Benin: Maryse Lokossou Details New Projects of CDC – La Nouvelle Tribune

Maryse Lokossou, CEO of the Benin Deposit and Consignment Fund (CDC Benin), outlined on September 24, 2026, in Cotonou, the institution's results and future plans during the « Media on Spot » meeting. The CDC aims to strengthen its resources by mobilizing local funds, including those from the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), and is exploring diversification through attracting diaspora savings and managing third-party funds. In 2025, the CDC recorded a net profit of nearly 18 billion CFA francs, fully owned by the government, and supports projects alongside banks, focusing on strategic sectors like the Glo-Djigbé industrial zone.
