Benin: Rehabilitation of the Cadjèhoun-Etoile Rouge axis starts this Monday, June 8

SIRAT SA, the delegated project owner, announced the start of rehabilitation works on Avenue du Canada (rue 12.128) between Cadjèhoun junction and Étoile Rouge in Cotonou, starting June 8, 2026 until January 30, 2027. The project proceeds in three phases: closure from Cadjèhoun to Franc Prix supermarket (June 8-August 29), from Franc Prix to Vodjè junction (September 1-October 31), and from Vodjè to Étoile Rouge (November 2-January 30). These works are part of the Asphaltage Phase B, lot 3B program to modernize Cotonou's road network. Diversions will be set up and a toll-free number (7414) is available for inquiries.
