Benin: Rogatien Tossou takes over the cabinet of the CES

Rogatien Tossou has been appointed as the director of the cabinet of the Economic and Social Council (CES) by Abdoulaye Bio Tchané on September 4, 2026. This appointment follows his departure from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where he served as cabinet director since January 2020. The CES, a constitutional institution, is tasked with providing advice on economic, social, and environmental issues to the Government and the National Assembly.
