Benin: State budget revenues reach 1,220.8 billion FCFA in the first half of 2026

The State of Benin mobilized 1,220.8 billion FCFA in budget revenues between January 1 and June 30, 2026, according to a report published by the General Directorate of Budget. This amount represents an execution rate of 56.2% compared to annual forecasts. The country's economic growth, driven by industrialization and the digital sector, reached 7.5% in 2024. The finance law for 2026 anticipates an increase in revenues of over 23% compared to 2025.
