Benin: the CES prepares its first opinion on the economic and social situation

The Economic and Social Council (CES) of Benin will open its second ordinary session on September 15, 2026, in Cotonou, where it will examine several economic and social issues. For the first time, the institution will adopt an opinion on the country's economic and social situation. This session, which will run until October 14, will be chaired by Abdoulaye Bio Tchané, elected in July 2026. The advisors will also discuss the 2027 budget project and the finance bill for the same year.
