Benin: the Forces Cauris for an Emerging Benin joins the presidential majority

The opposition party Forces Cauris for an Emerging Benin (FCBE) announced that it is joining the presidential majority two weeks before the inauguration of Romuald Wadagni. After receiving 5.95% of the votes in the presidential election, the FCBE justified its decision by the election results and its desire to contribute to the country's development. The Democratic Party, the main opposition force, was excluded from the presidential race, further weakening the opposition in Benin.
