Benin: Three suspects arrested and five suspected stolen motorcycles seized in Abomey Calavi

Three suspects were arrested in Sèmè-Agori, Abomey-Calavi, by the republican police during the night of September 18 to 19, 2026. The first two suspects, caught during a patrol, were found with burglary tools. A search at the home of a third suspect led to the discovery of five motorcycles with fraudulent origins, whose chassis numbers had been ground off. The three suspects are in custody, and investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the network.
