Benin: Two inmates escape during transfer in Bohicon

Two inmates escaped during their transfer from the 2nd arrondissement police station in Bohicon to the civil prison in Abomey. One of the escapees, identified as Garba Cherif, managed to free himself from his handcuffs, while the other left the moving vehicle. An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the escape and the responsibilities of the involved police officers.
