Benue bans compulsory extra lessons in schools

The Benue State Government has banned compulsory extra lessons in schools to protect learners and reduce financial pressure on parents. Education Commissioner Dr. Margaret Adamu stated that schools can only conduct extra lessons with prior approval from the ministry. Additionally, the use of non-transferable textbooks is restricted, and parents are encouraged to report any violations of these directives.
