Benue Govt activates emergency centres over COVID-19 alert

Benue State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Paul Ogwuche, has reactivated Emergency Response Centres to prepare for a potential COVID-19 outbreak following a positive case in neighboring Cross River State. He assured the public that all centres are operational and there is no need for panic. Additionally, no new cases of Lassa fever have been reported in the last four weeks, and renovation works are ongoing in Primary Health Care Centres across the state.
