Benue govt warns residents against building on waterways, vows to end flooding

The Benue State Government has reiterated its commitment to tackling persistent flooding, warning residents against building on waterways. It emphasized that constructions in low-lying areas contribute to flooding and obstruction of water channels. Additional measures, including the construction of a two-meter-wide drainage channel around Achusah, are being implemented to improve water flow and prevent flooding.
