Benue killings: HURIWA demands Alia’s resignation

This demand follows a recent attack on the Ayilamo community, where 11 people, including four police officers, were killed. HURIWA highlighted the scale of violence in the state, citing figures from Amnesty International reporting 6,896 deaths between May 2023 and May 2025.
