Benue: One killed as suspected herdsmen attack another Otukpo community

One person was killed when suspected armed herdsmen attacked Ondo community in Ugboju District of Otukpo Local Government Area, Benue State. The attack came less than 48 hours after the deadly invasion of Otukpo-Nobi where over 18 people were killed. Local government chairman Maxwell Ogiri said security forces repelled the attackers after one resident lost his life. Police have yet to provide full details.
