Bertoua: Illicit medicines estimated at 35 million FCFA destroyed

A shipment of illicit medicines worth approximately 35 million FCFA was destroyed at the Koumé landfill site in Bertoua 1st, overseen by Governor Grégoire Mvongo. The confiscated products included various pharmaceuticals such as liquids, drops, tablets, antibiotics, solutions, and anti-inflammatories. Health authorities warn about the dangers of consuming products from unregulated sources and announced ongoing control operations in the region, especially in Bertoua markets.
