Bertoua: Two suspects arrested after the murder of Dambaki Philomène - Lebledparle

On August 6, 2026, Dambaki Philomène, a 46-year-old trader selling grilled fish, was attacked in Bertoua around 9 p.m. in the area between ENIET and Kpokolota market. She was stabbed multiple times, robbed, and died at the scene. Two men, Hamidou Moumini alias « Traoré » (27) and Tao Abdou Mounafap alias « Papa Tao » (25), were arrested and participated in a reenactment of the crime with authorities. Moumini has a history of three previous imprisonments, while Tao was a moto-taxi driver at the time. The ongoing investigation will clarify their roles in the murder.
