Bezos Kenya satellite nod bid opens fight with Musk

Amazon has submitted a licensing bid to deploy satellite internet in Kenya through its subsidiary Amazon Kuiper Kenya Limited. The project aims to launch over 3,200 satellites by 2028 and compete with Elon Musk's Starlink, which currently dominates the market. The requested licenses will allow Amazon to operate communication infrastructure nationwide, while Starlink has also established partnerships to offer similar services.
