Biafra: Finland seeks longer jail term as Simon Ekpa appeals terrorism conviction

Pro-Biafra activist Simon Ekpa has appealed his terrorism conviction and six-year prison sentence in Finland. The Finnish prosecutor has also appealed, seeking a longer sentence, arguing that the current one is insufficient. Ekpa was found guilty of inciting terrorism and participating in a terrorist group, having used his social media influence to fuel tensions in Nigeria between August 2021 and November 2024.
