BID: 253 billion FCFA in agreements and letters of intent expected in Cameroon

The Islamic Development Bank (BID) plans to sign financing agreements and letters of intent totaling 385.85 million euros, equivalent to 253.1 billion FCFA, on September 14, 2026, in Yaoundé. These documents will be concluded at the end of the BID Group Day dedicated to Cameroon, although the distribution by project and beneficiary has not been published. The main known public financing concerns the rehabilitation of the Douala-Bafoussam road.
