In Bingerville, a dispute on October 28 between a passenger and a gbaka crew began when 300 CFA francs in change from a 500-franc note was not returned, followed by the disappearance of the passenger’s prescription glasses. After receiving the complaint, the municipality, through transport deputy mayor Diomande Mamadou Dibo, had the vehicle immobilized and summoned the driver, assistant and owner.
