Bini at Warak: Savannah signs agreement with the state to develop project estimated at CFAF 393 billion

Savannah Energy signed a joint development agreement with the Cameroonian state in October 2026 to advance the Bini at Warak hydro-solar project in the Adamawa region. The agreement sets out the framework for cooperation and calls for development under an independent power producer model, more than three years after an April 2023 memorandum of understanding. Under this model, a private operator will develop and finance the facility and sell its electricity under terms to be agreed.
