Ondo approves state burial for Fasoranti

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has set up a committee to organise a state burial for Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, the former Afenifere leader who died aged 100. The committee, chaired by state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Dr Kayode Ajulo, will work with Fasoranti’s family and Afenifere leaders. The government said the burial will honour Fasoranti’s contributions to Ondo State, Yorubaland and Nigeria, and his life of service and leadership.
