Blackout hits Enugu as rainstorm wrecks power lines

A power outage has plunged several parts of Enugu metropolis into darkness following heavy rainfall and strong winds that damaged electricity infrastructure. MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited confirmed that the blackout was due to a wire cut on Emene Industrial Lines. Affected areas include Trans Ekulu, Emene, and Thinkers Corner, with repair works underway to restore power.
