“Blaming the opposition for hunger is delusion and political amnesia,” Atiku tells Tinubu

Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, called President Bola Tinubu’s claim that the opposition caused hunger and poverty “delusional” and “shameless.” In a statement issued by ADC campaign communications director Phrank Shaibu, Atiku noted that the ruling APC governed for eight years before Tinubu took office, and that Tinubu has now served for three and a half years. He blamed the administration’s policies for Nigerians’ hardship and urged the president to answer for his record. Atiku also criticized the commissioning of the unfinished Abuja-Kaduna Expressway from inside a stadium.
