Boma Yangu Takes Action After Residents Flag Missing Units Despite Paying Deposit

On August 30, 2026, Nairobi residents protested against the unfair distribution of affordable housing units in Mukuru, despite having paid a deposit. In response, Boma Yangu launched a verification exercise into the complaints regarding the allocation of these units. Additionally, Siaya Governor James Orengo alleged an assassination attempt after his official vehicle was attacked and set ablaze during a rally in Migori. Furthermore, the DCI arrested three suspects, including a police officer, in connection with the murder of Dr. Victoria Mutiso.
