Borgu kidnapping: IGP deploys AIG, tactical team to Niger

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has deployed Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Victor Olaiya, and a tactical team to Niger to support rescue efforts for residents abducted in Borgu. Disu met with senior police officers in Minna and emphasized that the rescue operation also involves the Nigerian Army and other security agencies. Police Commissioner Adamu Abdullahi Elleman thanked the IGP for the deployment, which will strengthen efforts to locate and rescue the victims.
