Borno commissioner retracts ‘finger-breaking’ comment, apologises to residents

Borno State Commissioner Hon. Saina Buba apologized after sparking public outcry with a threatening comment made during an engagement in Maiduguri. He stated that his remarks were not intended to harm the fundamental rights of citizens and formally retracted his statement. Buba also emphasized that his comments do not represent the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the administration of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.
