Boundary dispute: Ogun local government chairman urges Lagos to call Ojodu chief to order over signpost

Kusimo Idris Olalekan, chairman of Ifo Local Government in Ogun State, has urged the Lagos government to intervene after a “Welcome to Lagos State” sign was erected on the disputed Yakoyo–Ojodu Road. The council called for an impartial boundary determination based on official records and approved survey coordinates, and urged all parties to exercise restraint. The dispute follows the Ogun State government’s construction of a road under Governor Dapo Abiodun.
