Boy Djiné’s latest assault allegations against three prison officers

Baye Modou Fall, known as Boy Djiné, has filed a complaint with the Dakar prosecutor accusing officers at Liberté 6 prison camp of physical violence and mistreatment. According to the complaint, tensions began after flooding linked to a water cut and a tap left running; the officers named are A. Sané, A. Dialo Diop and M. Seck. He says the alleged beatings severely damaged his hearing, causing eardrum injuries and permanent ringing, and that a tumor in his ear may be cancerous. He also complains of delayed medical care and says he is undergoing his second surgery.
