Brazil: Indigenous marches in Brasilia enter their third day for land

The march in Brasilia is part of the 'Acampamento Terra Livre', taking place from April 6 to 11, 2026, gathering nearly 7,000 participants from over 200 peoples. Indigenous leaders, including Marinete Tukano, expressed concerns about delays in land demarcation, which endanger community rights. Although around twenty territories were recognized between 2023 and late 2025, participants believe these advancements are insufficient.
