On the eve of Brazil’s presidential run-off, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro is projected to receive 46.3 percent of the vote, compared with 45 percent for President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, according to a CNT/MDA poll released Saturday. The survey questioned 2,032 people from October 21 to 23 and has a margin of error of 2.2 percentage points. In Friday’s final debate, the candidates sparred over the economy, infrastructure and regional development. Flavio Bolsonaro accused Lula of allowing organised crime to expand and failing to address the rising cost of living.
