BREAKING: APC Primary: Police arrest armed thugs connected to serving lawmaker in Ekiti

The police arrested armed thugs allegedly sponsored by a serving House of Representatives member in Ekiti State. The suspects, identified as Adekunle Stephen, Boluwaji Ishola, Adepoju Adebayo, Oluwatobi Adeoluwa, Akintunde Emmanuel, Ibitola Babatope, and Adewale Makanjuola, were apprehended at Onikoyi Hotel in Ikun-Ekiti. They confessed to being hired to disrupt the APC primary elections originally scheduled for May 15, 2026, which have been postponed to May 16.
