Breaking: Mary Habila's family petitions IGP, demands release of body for burial

Tanko Habila, father of the late nurse Mary Habila who died at the residence of the Minister of Works, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) demanding the release of her remains for burial. Accompanied by his wife, other family members and lawyers, he addressed the press after submitting the petition at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Friday. The family stated they are not interested in an autopsy and lamented that the Ebonyi State Police Command has refused to release the body for almost two weeks.
